Use of Church Facilities
Members and non-members may use our facilities for meetings, rehearsals, weddings, and other important gatherings. Please see rules below for details.
Rules for General use of the church
Church related activities have precedence when it comes to building use.
Church Related Activities
A. Request for use of the building must be done with the church secretary (i.e. assembly room, lounge) so that we can have your room set up for you and for the proper scheduling of rooms.
B. Church use request forms are available from the church office. This form must be filled out and returned to the office before the date of use.
C. No red punch or red Kool-Aid should be used for refreshments.
D. The church building must be picked up and left in an orderly manner.
E. Church must be vacated by 11:00pm on weekdays and 5:00pm on Saturday.
F. We request that you turn off lights and lock doors when leaving the building.
G. Church equipment including cleaning equipment may not be taken from the building.
Non-Church Related Activities
A. Request for use of the building must be done with the church secretary (i.e. assembly room, lounge) so that we can have your room set up for you and for the proper scheduling of rooms.
B. Church use request forms are available from the church office. This form must be filled out and returned to the office before the date of use.
C. Users fee for assembly room is $75 (including kitchen).
D. Users fee for lounge is $50.
E. No red punch or red Kool-Aid should be used for refreshments.
F. The church building must be picked up and left in an orderly manner.
G. Church must be vacated by 11:00pm on weekdays and 5:00pm on Saturday.
H. Users are responsible for any damage occurred.
I. Church equipment including cleaning equipment may not be taken from the building.
J. The church has approximately 50 folding chairs and an assortment of 6 rectangle tables that are available for use outside the building. Contact the church custodian for pick up and return of this equipment.
K. The church building is not available for use on these dates:The weekend before Easter
The weekend before and after Vacation Bible School
The weekend after Thanksgiving.
Rules for Weddings and Receptions
- Request for use of the church for a wedding/reception must be done through the church office and must have Pastor/Administration Committee approval.
- Request forms are available in the church office and must be filled out and returned with the user fee to reserve the date being requested.
- The fee for church members for the use of the sanctuary is $400 and non-member is $750. Fees are refundable up to 30 days before facility use.
- No rice, birdseed or confetti may be thrown in or outside the church.
- The use of red punch is not permitted. Alcoholic beverages, dancing and smoking are not allowed in the church facilities.
- The building must be vacated by 11:00pm on weekdays and 5:00pm on Saturday.
- The Assembly room is available for wedding receptions up to 200 people, using church equipment. With approval, additional equipment can be used but is the responsibility of the user. Church is not liable for that equipment.
- The Assembly Room is available for Saturday receptions but must be vacated by 5:00pm.
- Only qualified musicians are allowed to use the organ. Only authorized church personnel may operate the sound system of the church.
